HTL: Middleton 15, Cross Plains 8: Ben Bradley's three-run double in a four-run seventh gave host Middleton (16-1) the lead for good as it turned back an upset bid by Cross Plains (8-9).

Middleton trailed 4-0 after a half-inning, then took a 5-4 lead in its half of the inning, only to see Cross Plains open up an 8-6 advantage. Middleton, though, eventually pulled away to earn a berth against Waunakee in next week's East Division final.

Eric Simon singled in Ben Bradley in the bottom of the ninth as host Middleton won.
Simon scored the tying run in the eighth on a passed ball with two outs.

Ross Hellenbrand scattered 5 hits and Middleton scored all its runs on homers - a two-run shot by Cole Cook and three-run blasts by Tim Cleary and Nick Simon - as it dropped host Ashton.

HTL: Middleton 11, Waunakee 1

Ross Hellenbrand allowed one earned run in six innings and Matt Brabender had three hits and three RBIs as host Middleton won.

Brabender and Josh Hinson had RBI singles and Hellenbrand had a two-run double in a six-run fifth for Middleton.

HTL: Middleton 3, Black Earth 2 (10)

Tim Cleary's infield single scored Nick Simon in the 10th inning as visiting Middleton remained undefeated.  Simon singled with one out and moved to third on Ross Hellenbrand's single.  After Hellenbrand stole second, Cleary came to the plate.

Simon finished with two hits and two runs scored, while Hellenbrand pitched the final three innings to get the winKyle Frank had two hits. a run scored and an RBI for Black Earth.

HTL: Middleton wins in 11 to remain unbeaten

Ross Hellenbrand and Eric Simon drove in runs in the 11th inning as Middleton remained unbeaten with a 4-2 win over Waunakee in a Home Talent League Northern Section amateur baseball game Sunday.  

Middleton took a 2-1 lead in the ninth when John Strnad was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Waunakee tied the game on Montana LeFebvre's RBI single. Middleton's Jeff Schafer allowed one run in eight innings and Matt Hill gave up two runs in nine innings for Waunakee.

Middleton 5, Mazomanie 1

Eric Simon walked one and struck out four in a five-hitter and added an RBI as host Middleton rolled past Mazomanie to remain unbeaten.  Middleton took a quick 2-0 lead in the first on Josh Hinson's RBI single and Tim Cleary's RBI double.

Middleton 12, Cross Plains 10

Josh Hinson singled twice, doubled, homered and drove in three runs as Middleton pounded out 15 hits in a wild win over host Cross Plains.

Tim Satterthwaite's three-run homer for Cross Plains in the sixth tied it at 9, but Hinson's two-run shot an inning later put Middleton ahead for good. Cole Cook finished with four RBIs for Middleton.

Middleton 13, Cazenovia 3

Eric Simon tossed a five-hitter and Nick Simon drove in three runs as host Middleton won in seven innings.

Nick Simon had three hits, including two doubles, while Matt Brabender had a two-run single in the second and Eric Simon singled three times and scored four runs.
